As Wan Chai is both residential and commercial district, it provides a wide range of dining options.  From local snacks, HK style small cafes serving wanton noodles or fried rice, international cuisine restaurants to 5-star hotel dining are all available.

According to a local restaurant review site OpenRice, there are over 400 small snack shops and HK style "tea restaurants" (茶餐廳 "cha chaan teng"), over 150 Chinese restaurants and over 60 international cuisine restaurants in Wanchai.  If you are new to HK, try the local "tea restaurant".  Tea restaurants typically serves economical menu which includes local food and HK interpretation of western dishes. 

Bar goers can find plenty of drinking places in Wanchai especially around Lockhart Road and Luard Road.
