Hong Kong Events - December 2027
December is Wan Chai dressed for winter. The Christmas lights are up, the WinterFest programme is in full swing on the harbourfront, and the district's bars and restaurants fill for the long holiday fortnight. Christmas Day falls on Saturday 25 December, with the public holiday for the first weekday after Christmas on Monday 27 December.
The HKCEC runs its seasonal events through the month, and the year closes on 31 December with the harbour countdown. It is cool, dry and the best month of the year for a long evening out in the district. Everything below is a confirmed 2027 date unless the entry says otherwise.
